Todowing

Todowing is an unofficial Chrome extension for Todoist. It adds sub-task trees to the views where Todoist hides them: Today, Upcoming, Boards, Filters, and Labels. Sub-tasks show inline under their parent, up to four levels deep, and each row keeps its own due date, priority, and labels. You can complete or reopen sub-tasks right in the list.

The free version includes all the nesting features, up to 5 sub-task rows per top-level task, seven color palettes, and a text-size slider from 85% to 200%. No account needed.

A one-time $19.99 lifetime unlock removes the row limit and adds editing sub-tasks from the list (add, rename, reorder), hiding finished sub-tasks, filing a task under a parent in another project without moving it, focus sessions with a countdown timer that runs across tabs, time estimates with totals, a notes pad above Today, 50 Google Fonts, and read-only Apple Calendar feeds in Today. No subscription, and refunds within 14 days.

Todowing is for people who run their work in Todoist and break it into sub-tasks. Your Todoist API token stays in your browser and goes only to the official Todoist API. Tasks never pass through Todowing's servers, and the extension has no analytics or tracking.
